Sterilization & Depyrogenation Tunnel
The sterilization and Depyrogenation tunnel are designed to sterilize and depyrogenize the glass vials by hot air at 300oC to 350oC temperature which ensures the reduction of endotoxin count by greater than 3 Log. The link conveyor will transport the vials from the infeed to the filling area through the drying zone, hot zone and cooling zone. Drying zone evaporates water droplets from the vials, hot zone sterilizes the vials at 300 – 350o C. Vertical laminar flow of hot air supports optimum and consistent heat transfer and offers reproducibility of the sterilization process which can be validated.
